What a hidden gem. The museum is run by an extremely enthusiastic group of volunteers.
We first saw a short film before exploring the displays. We were fortunate to be joined by a volunteer who was able to explain all the exhibits. The displays were well presented with plenty of explanatory notes. We were amazed at how much aviation history stemmed from the area.
Make a visit to the cafe – the cakes are great.
